Clive worked for The American Association for Cancer Research, in Philadelphia for two years, which left him with an understanding of the vastness and complexity of this field. Ten years ago, Clive directly benefited from advances in research by having ‘limb sparing surgery’ to remove a Soft Tissue Sarcoma. He made a complete recovery, but it was not lost on either of us that just a few years early, he would have been having his leg amputated.
